Pond Paint - Neoprene Rubber Coating

HERCO Fish Pond Coating

Neoprene Rubber Coating is an excellent finish to cover cement blocks to be used in the pond, stop leaks in concrete waterfalls, or cover concrete or block or other masonry type ponds. After cleaning and preparing the pond surface with Thinner-Cleaner, the coat of primer and three coats of liquid rubber are recommended for complete sealing of surface. Water may be added as early as 24 hours after the last coat has dried. Fish can be added 72 hours later(we still recommended that a normal pond establishment period pass after stocking with plants before putting in fish). Each gallon of coating covers approximately 100 to 150 square feet for the three coats needed. Quarts cover 25 to 37 square feet.

Thinner-Cleaner is used to mix in to the black coating to thin it sufficiently for easier painting of the pond surface. This material is also used to clean up brushes. Needed for Black Rubbber only.

One coat of primer and three coats of liquid rubber are recommended for complete sealing of surface. Each gallon of coating covers approximately 100 to 150 square feet for the three coats needed (depends on surface porousity). Black coating must be thinned using the Thinner/Cleaner. herco.jpg Herco Fish Pond Coating - Clear - Gallon
$205.00
One coat of primer and three coats of liquid rubber are recommended for complete sealing of surface. Keep in mind that the primer is gray and the coating will allow the gray to show through. In some cases, the primer is omitted with the idea that the stonework will show through from below the coating. The clear coating dries more of a translucent clear and is not totally clear. A slightly milky finish will result. Water may be added as early as 24 hours after last coat has dried. Each gallon of coating covers approximately 100 to 150 square feet for the three coats needed (depends on surface porousity). Thinner cleaner is not needed for clear coating.
