Pondless Waterfall Components
This pondless waterfall system features a 5' X 5' "pond" covered in gravel. The 3600 gallon per hour pump in inside a Savio Waterfall Well. The pumps connects with 25 feet of FlexPVC pipe to a 23 inch curtain falls box. With the lift and distance, the pump is running at about 3400 gallons per hour in this photo. Build a waterfall and streambed to flow through your landscape without the full scale water garden at the bottom. This kid-friendly water feature has a pond where the pump is located, but it is filled back in with water matrix (see below) and covered with gravel and decorative stone to hide the water from view completely. The pump is concealed in a vault that is buried in the pond area. The vault protects the pump and makes it easily accessible for maintenance. Choose your pump as you would for a water garden. The water from the pump is typically discharged into a box made for the beginning of a waterfall.     Pump Canyons by Pondbuilder Pump Canyons are used to house the pump used in a pondless waterfall system.
