This assortment of perennial Iris varieties prefers shallow water on or over their roots. Great for naturalizing a wet area and to give early to late spring color to a water garden. Narrow blades emerge in spring before the flowers appear. After flowering, enjoy the bold vertical leaves for the rest of the season. Plant different varieties for a succession of flower color. Fertilize as you would other bog plants, using fertilizer tablets (see Planting Supplies). Remove dead flowers to keep plant neat and vigorous.
